Get to know me. 

As a kid, I always had a passion for the sciences. All through grade school I wanted to be a marine biologist, partially due to Steve Irwin being my idol. The more I learned about biology the more intrigued I became with the human body, and the deeper I indulged in human anatomy the more I wanted to learn. Which through the weird interworking of life I found myself fascinated with the oral cavity. Perhaps my becoming a dental hygienist is comparable to how Steve Irwin became known as the crocodile hunter. My appreciation for the oral cavity and everything involved with it led me to pursue this career. My passion for treating and improving others' health has increased throughout my academic career at Missouri Southern State University and will continue to grow after graduation.
