Defined by ADEA, core competencies reflect the ethics, values, skills, and knowledge integral to all aspects of each of the allied dental professions. These core competencies are foundational to the specific roles of each allied dental professional. There is 13 different core competencies.

This is a research based paper discussing how important sealants are. This research helps me provide patients with better explanation as well as provide them with proper knowledge.

These are separate patients that required individualized problem solving. One patient's diet put him at high risk for tooth decay while the other patient had been smoking cigarettes for many years. After collecting comprehensive data on each, I was able to provide a personalized plan to help reduce the risk of oral health conditions and/or to improve their health.
